What causes people in a society to revolt in the way of protesting? Is it the same basis for student protest? What are the connections between protest outside of college campuses and protests on college campuses? Are there any similarities?
I think the problem with your question is that you have formulated it as a simple "compare and contrast" project, which will not be adequate. You have to get to a significant difference between college and "regular"(?) protesters -- if there is one -- and consider some larger questions about the value of protest and what it teaches people in college.
